Amazing broadcasted concert with Burmese, Thai and international performing artists who all donated their music to the Joy Box initiative, a music program for refugees internally displaced by the war in Myanmar/Burma.

Joy House, a trauma healing center using art therapy for refugees from Myanmar in Thailand, is the producer of the Joy Fest video concert. Vanessa and Alexa are the powerhouse US volunteer team who made this all possible. The Durgas are featured in the show and have been so supportive!

“We’re clandestinely sending music instruments and a music and curriculum recorded by our refugee teaching artists at Joy House loaded onto tablets so community leaders can teach in the IDP camps across Myanmar. We aim to have refugee performances in the 2025 Joy Fest concert through this project!”
